Hello friends of learning! Happy Thursday
Can you solve this Math problem? We started our day with the same question (but in French) to get our brains warmed up and ready for learning.
What information in the question can help us? What digit can we place even before getting started on finding the solution? Please ask me what strategy I used to find the solution.

In Français, we worked on our Top 5 hands, with many of us now finished decorating our hands and working on practicing our presentations. Presentations will start either tomorrow (Friday) or Monday, pending the weather and our Terry Fox run. Taking time to practice what we would like to say (presenting to ourselves in front of a mirror works great!) will ensure we feel confident when it is time to speak in front of our peers.
We finished the morning with a quick overview of our first Science experiment which we will complete in class either tomorrow or Monday. Our 🧠Brainwork for this evening is to consider how many drops of water will fit on the surface of a penny and why/how we came up with the prediction that we did. We will be writing our ideas down in the form of a hypothesis before starting the experiment. Stay tuned to find out more!
