A busy week ahead!

Hello families! Happy Monday!

We are headed into a busy week - the last week of Term 1!

Each day this week we will be working hard in our classes to show our best learning of the many concepts we've been working on since September.

Here's a quick overview of the week:

In Math: more mental math calculations, a problem-solving question and a short assessment on "le plan cartésien" and "les nombres entiers."

In Français: a short one-on-one interview with Mme about "ma famille" and a reading task about "Zeniben", a girl who lives in a desert in India.

In Science: Tomatosphere graphing and observations, and the final submission of our tomato results! (We are so excited to find out which group of seeds are our space tomatoes!)

Phew!

Be sure to stay tuned to the blog so you are up to date on all the action!

Thank you for your anticipated hard work and support! :)

AGENDA

1. Short Math assessment: Wednesday
(We will do a review in class tomorrow).
If wanting to also review at home: ensure Netmath tasks are complete, and review the sheets completed in class over the past few weeks.

2. Term 1 Celebration of Learning Conferences: Thursday from 4:30 - 6:30.
No appointment needed! Please allow your child to take you on a tour of their learning spaces and walk you through some of their daily learning routines!
(Please note: one-on-one conferences/discussions about your child's learning will not be possible that evening. If you would like to discuss your child's progress and ask specific questions, please email to set something up for another time. Thank you.)

3. Spend some time reading this week! This site has lots of options!
