La priorité des opérations

Hello! Happy Friday!

This morning in Math we continued our exploration of "la priorité des opérations." We learned that multiplication and division take priority over addition and subtraction, but that within each group, the two operations are equals. We also learned that "les parathèses" are the bossiest and take priority over everything! 

We will continue to work on a variety of "PEDMAS" questions over the coming week. This is also an excellent way for us to practice our basic facts. We will be calculating experts by Christmas! :)

AGENDA

1. Math - The first side of our "PEDMAS" worksheet will be corrected in class on Monday. 
Q: 2 - all, Q: 3 - all, Q: 4 - 10 questions of your choice.

2. Science Design Process - Students are brainstorming, researching and planning their plant experiments. A due date has not yet been set, but projects will likely be due the end of next week. More work time and project details will be provided in class over the coming week.

3. Read, read, read! Please set aside a minimum of 10 minutes each evening to read in French. Je Lis (our home reading site) is now set up and ready to use.
