Happy Monday!

It was so nice to see everyone's smiling faces this morning!

Now that we're heading in to our second week of middle school, we'll be adding a few more routines to our mornings (new Math starters, reading, and more!) We will also be starting our first writing/presenting task in Français as well as learning our first new concepts in Math and Science.

Today in Math, Mme read the book, Sir Cumference and the Viking's Map we the activating activity for "les plans cartésiens" which we will begin learning in class tomorrow.

Please ask me about the story: what are some of the key words that Mme pointed out as 'important' as we listened to her read?

AGENDA ITEMS

1. Terry Fox Run: We will be doing our Terry Fox Walk/Run Friday, September 23 during periods 3 and 4. We invite all families to donate a "Toonie for Terry" through SchoolCash Online. Please check your email inbox for a SchoolCash notice sent out from the school office.

2. School supplies: We have started using our scribblers, composition books and duotangs in class. If you do not already have these items at school, please bring them as soon as possible!

4. If you missed Cross-Country practices this week but will still like to join, it's not too late! Join us on tomorrow (Tuesday) and Wednesday morning (at 7:55am) to get ready for Race #2!
