Monday News!

Happy Monday, learning friends!

We got our week off to a great start with a busy morning of learning!

Today in Math we continued exploring positive and negative integers and practiced different types of questions using positive and negative numbers. (Mme talked a lot about "Les sandwichs de nombres." What does that mean? Please ask me for an example!)

In Français, we are continuing with our LaLaLa reading routine adding in the second "La": Lecture Avec Partenaire.

We ended the morning with Science and had so many tomato observations to update after the weekend! Please ask me about my plants: Have one or both seeds germinated yet? How has my plant changed since last week? Do I have any predictions about which group contains the seeds that went to space?

2. We're going on a field trip! Hooray! All Grade 6 students will be attending the French film, "Pil" at Grant Park Cinema on Thursday, October 27. Information letters and permission forms were sent home Thursday of last week. Please sign and return as soon as possible!
