Les aéronefs!

Hello! Happy Tuesday!

Today in Science we began designing and testing an aircraft. Using a straw as our main fuselage, we are adding circular wings made from different types of paper in different sizes and widths to see which prototype will fly the best. We will continue our planning and constructing in class tomorrow.

Please ask me about my aircraft: what type of paper did I use? What design am I working on? How did my first few designs fly? What is my next design idea for tomorrow?

AGENDA

1. Read, read, read! Je Lis or another Français site of your choice! Try: https://www.ebookids.com/
(The musical note indicates the book will be read aloud.)

2. NetMath - 3 new NetMath books were assigned in class yesterday. Students who did not have a chance to complete them are encouraged to work on them at home.

3. On the horizon : we will be completing short assessments this week in Math (improper and mixed number fractions, and multiplication and division of decimal numbers) and Science (fluids and 4 forces of flight). Fully participating in class lessons and activities will ensure success on these items. Any students requiring additional support are encouraged to check in sooner than later!
