Hello families! It's the fifth day of middle school!
This morning we read the story, We're All Friends Here. It was fun to see the same story from two different points of view. This is a good reminder for us to be kind to one another - we can never be sure what someone else is going through.
We also played the same "Guess Who" French game as yesterday, but today's theme was downhill sports! Instead of 'Arrrrrrrrrrrr-ing" like a pirate, we "Brrrrrr-ed" like it was winter! (Mme Careen is so silly!)
We ended the morning with our Top 5 video about organization, which led us to our first "Brain Work" task of the year.
What is 🧠Brain Work? Brain Work is a thinking homework task that we can do at any point during the evening, which can easily be done as we sit on the bus, drive to hockey, watch our sister's piano lesson or brush our teeth. There is nothing to write down or hand in the following day, but, we will be asked to put our ideas to use in class the following day.
Today's 🧠Brain Work task: Think through the Top Cinq organization tricks and choose which one is our favourite and why. We will be writing our answers in our cahier tomorrow is class. (If a refresher is needed, CLICK HERE to watch the video.)
Thanks for another great morning!
